Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta - PGDCM programme

Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta invites application from eligible candidates to do a full-time two-year residential PGDCM programme similar PGDM with an additional emphasis on use of Information Technology (IT) in management.
Eligibility:
  • Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% for SC, ST, Differently Abled (DA)1].
  • In case the candidates are awarded grades/CGPA instead of marks, the conversion of grades/CGPA to percentage of marks would be based on the procedure certified by the university/ institution from where they have obtained the bachelor's degree.
  • In case the university/ institution does not have any scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by dividing the candidate’s CGPA by the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the result with 100.
  • You must be appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree.
Selection Process:
  1. The interview shortlist will be prepared based on multiple criteria such as CAT score, academic performance and relevant work experience.
  2. The shortlisted candidates should appear for group discussion/ personal interview (GD/ Pl), which will also evaluate candidates competence and interest in ICT.
How to apply: At the time of registration for CAT 2010, select PGP-PGDCM along with other options. There will be no separate application form, payment, or test for admission to this programme.
